The result of the consultation and any changes coming out of it are as yet unpublished.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.teignbridge.gov.uk\/localplanreview\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Part 2<\/a>, consulted on in mid 2021, covered what TDC describes as major sites for housing and employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The current consultation is on&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.teignbridge.gov.uk\/planning\/local-plans-and-policy\/local-plan-review-2020-2040\/draft-local-plan-review-part-3-renewable-energy-gypsy-and-travellers-and-residential-sites-options-consultation-open\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Part 3<\/a>, covering sites for renewables (wind and solar), small scale housing and travellers.&nbsp;The consultation closes on 24<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;January 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ACT is not responding to specific sites, where these are listed, unless we have identified a particular concern in relation to climate change or ecological impacts.&nbsp; Instead,&nbsp;our <a href=\"https:\/\/backup.act.stringerhj.co.uk\/oldsite\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/ACT-Local-Plan-Part3-response-v1.0.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">response<\/a>&nbsp;is to the broader aspects of these proposed sites and the associated policies\/criteria that govern their selection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We encourage everyone to respond individually, especially regarding specific sites they are familiar with.&nbsp; It is important to include comments that address the criteria identified by the council in the consultation.&nbsp; Not doing so may result in the comment not being given the weight it may otherwise deserve.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although you are strongly encouraged to respond&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/myaccount.teignbridge.gov.uk\/en\/AchieveForms\/?form_uri=sandbox-publish:\/\/AF-Process-a130f304-c535-46e3-b0a5-131a51884341\/AF-Stage-bb65d022-96f3-4a12-beea-43866cfbb4e0\/definition.json&amp;redirectlink=%2Fen&amp;cancelRedirectLink=%2Fen&amp;accept=yes&amp;consentMessageIds%5b%5d=84\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">online<\/a>,&nbsp;ACT\u2019s response will be sent by email to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:localplanreview@teignbridge.gov.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">localplanreview@teignbridge.gov.uk<\/a>.&nbsp;This is because there is no facility to do this using the online facility other than for solar PV where there are no individual sites identified.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Teignbridge District Council&#8217;s current Local Plan, which runs from 2013-2033, is being revised and extended to cover the period 2020-2040.\u00a0\u00a0Part 1,\u00a0 which specifies the policies associated with new developments including renewable energy, was consulted on in 2020.
