Updates include a new section on the national speed limit, and revision of the carbon calculator section to reflect recent progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">EVs document<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This document provides an extensive review of the pros and cons of buying an EV, subjects covered include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Introduction to EVs including types of EVs<\/li><li>History of Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs)<\/li><li>Travel Range<\/li><li>Emissions including comparison with internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEV), NOx emissions, non tailpipe emissions <\/li><li>Manufacture and disposal emissions and the use of Lithium, Cobalt, Graphite and rare earths. Recycling of batteries and Lifespan.<\/li><li>Efficiency and payback calculations compared with similar ICEV.<\/li><li>Efficiency of Rapid Charging<\/li><li>Driving, Towing, Insurance and taxation<\/li><li>Charging, connector types, different types of chargers<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mapping Teignbridge Transport emissions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We have recently produced detailed mapping of transport emissions in Teignbridge.
